Northwest Arkansas has several agencies who employ caregivers. Make sure they have a quality screening process such as drug testing and nationwide background checks. Decide the most important values you want from a caregiver and agency and ask questions accordingly.

You can also hire a caregiver who doesn't work for an agency. If you are planning to hire an independent caregiver you may want to make sure they are licensed, bonded, and insured. Make a list of questions based on your values to ensure their personality is compatible with your family member.  Doing a nationwide background check is a great idea.
